Sagittal profile assessment · reading nose and chin as a relationship · soft tissue against skeletal findings
Dr. Ke He is Deputy Director of the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center at Chongqing West District Hospital and head of its skin and laser aesthetic service — and she is the lead physician of this site. A core specialist formerly at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Xinqiao Hospital, affiliated with Army Medical University, she has worked on the clinical front line in skin laser and injectable aesthetics for more than 20 years, serving over ten thousand patients.
On this review her part is the relationship rather than the feature. She reads a true lateral view before proposing anything, judges the nose against the chin rather than on its own, and treats the profile lines as population averages rather than as a target. Where the finding looks skeletal rather than soft tissue, she describes a specialist assessment as the honest next step rather than proposing an injectable for it, and where a soft tissue change can add projection, she says plainly that it changes the silhouette without changing the structure beneath it.

A silhouette is not a structure
Adding projection in front of a recessed chin changes how the outline reads, and that change is real. It does not move the jaw, and the difference becomes visible when the face moves or when it is seen from another angle. Soft tissue in front of a structure is not a substitute for the structure, and saying so is not an argument against using it.
